I have built a portfolio career across cybersecurity leadership, board advisory, public policy, venture capital, start-up support and industry governance.

Over more than two decades, I have held senior CISO, CTO, innovation and cyber defence roles across major cybersecurity, technology and financial services organisations, including Tide, Reliance Cyber, NCC Group, Santander UK, Trustwave SpiderLabs and KPMG. My work has covered cyber resilience, technology strategy, AI security, cloud and SaaS risk, product development, research and development, and regulated financial services. 

Alongside executive leadership, I act as a Scientific Advisor to Osney Capital, advise start-ups and investors, and serve as an Expert Advisor and evaluator to NATO DIANA. I have also held public policy, governance and community roles, including Expert Advisor to the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, elected Board Member of CREST, and Trustee and Director of Security BSides London. 

My value is in translating complex technology and security issues into clear strategic choices for boards, executive teams, investors, founders and policy makers. I am particularly focused on cyber resilience, technology risk, AI security, regulated fintech, national cyber capability and the commercial development of cyber security companies.
